| SENDAI SUITE
alcohol ink and acrylic collage paintings - 20" x 20" each SITE: 50 foot long corridor leading to executive suites and opening onto a conference room at Schering-Plough HealthCare Products, Liberty Corner, New Jersey. OBJECTIVE: Enhance this long narrow space by introducing abstract artwork suitable for a contemporary corporate setting. The art should be engaging from up close yet also be seen as a cohesive linear group while a person walks in either direction down the corridor. PROPOSAL: Create a series of eight 20" x 20" square collage paintings that relate to the existing decor while introducing rich, subtle color. The compositions are individually framed but are visually linked by a consistent grid format with horizontal strips combined with flowing colorful forms.
